Check out this delightful, amazing fake menu that’s been turning up all over New York! Written by Dan Klein, Kelly Hudson and LNJF’s own Arthur Meyer. It is so dense with hilarity! (Huffington Post Comedy)

…or you could go to their website for an even better look at it. (FudsMenu.com)

Genius: Ben & Jerry’s released a combination lock to protect yo ice creams! (prexamples)

And for some dangerous fun: A human jump rope! (Unique Daily)

Even more Beige-LNWJF synergy going on here than ever before!

Hey, remember a few days ago when we announced that Beige writer Jess Dweck, the writer of the above sketch, had been hired as a full-time writer for Jimmy Fallon? Some of you probably thought, “Hey. Full time? That’s a lot of time. How’s she going to both?” Well, short answer; she isn’t.

Yes, it’s with a very heavy heart that we say goodbye to Jess here at Beige. It was selfish of us to think she could only entertain us and the people sitting in the UCB Theatre. Her comedy must go out to the world! Or the amount of the world that watches NBC.

Don’t worry though! We have found a way to fill the Dweck-shaped hole in our hearts; one Alison Bennett!

Alison is a Maude Night veteran having written for great groups like GORILLA GORILLA and Arbuckle and writing amazing sketches like this one and this one.

Basically we nabbed ourselves a ringer.

Onward, Beige! Onward!

We were just taking pictures of the TV during our favorite shows (it’s a weird hobby) when we noticed something odd. What’s that? Could that be the name of Beige writer Jess Dweck amongst the writers for Jimmy Fallon?

That’s right! This past week, Jess began as a monologue writer for one of the best shows on TV! A million congrats!

Hey there, hungry comedy fans! Are you feeling peckish? Well then come on down to Beige’s for some wacky characters, silly sketches, and also hoagies!

Well, you know what? Beige likes Adam Levy!

Do you see this video? Do you see how funny it is? This sketch was written by the amazingly talented Sarah Rainone.

Unfortunately (for us), Sarah has a real person job* and that real person job pays her real person money and that real person money can be exchanged for real person goods and services and, more importantly, that real person job is getting crazy busy. So, it was with a very heavy heart, Beige was forced to accept Sarah’s resignation. We will miss her very, very much as both a friend and an incredibly talented writer (listen to all the laughs in that video!).

However, with every cloud there is a lining and we have a big one. Joining Beige as a writer will be none other than Adam Levy. Levy, if you don’t know, co-wrote two popular UCB shows; Brad Sacks Gets a Hand Job and The Sit Down and Shut Up NYPD Variety Hour.

So, while it is a truly sad say to say goodbye to Sarah, we’re very excited to welcome Adam into our midst!

Ever onward, fair Beige.

*Fun trivia: Sarah is one of two Beige members who are published authors. Guess the other one!

Happy birthday to these lovely ladies!

Show #4 is done! Hooray!

Thanks everyone who came out!

Beige is so psyched about our new show that we woke up incredibly early on a Saturday morning and rehearsed it! Come see the sweet, sweet fruits of our labor this Monday!
